tasty
this was a fun show. 1st set, as noted was super solid. Bertha was fun as it had been raining outside.. Jerry rips on the soloing on that one.
Second set was definitely "speedy", but check out the end of Eyes... Jerry played like he was fading out to drums, kept tinkering until the others headed backstage, then dove into a really great jam with the drummers (sounds like some Heaven Help the Fool). It was a real deliberate feeling piece of music, like Jerry had something he wanted to personally get across to the crowd that night. I was luck to be 1 person from the rail in front of Jerry that night, a real treat. Check it out!

First four innings are spectacular
2nd set plays a whole step sharp. Meanwhile, the first set is a fine recording of a fine performance.

2nd set blues
The 1st set is nice up to Supplication Jam. After that they kinda fall apart. Everything is rushed as if they couldn't wait to get out of the state of Maine. Sound qaulity during the 2nd set is OK, but not great for a SBD -- must be the patches. 3 stars for effort, but not qaulity.

Hamstrung Blues!
I am not that excited by the second set of this show but the first set kicks ass. Very solid Jack Straw>Peggy-O to open. The only Revolutionary Hamstrung Blues I am aware of. I remember sitting around a tapers car after the show trying to figure out what that was. With this soundboard I can at least make out more of the words. > Bertha>Wang Dang. Nice! They tried to make a smooth transition from Supplication>Promised Land but it does't quite work. Thanks for the juicy SBD.
